This morning at 7:47 AM, I received the news that the love of my life had transitioned. To be entirely honest, I don’t even have the words to begin to describe the pain I feel in my chest but it soothes me knowing that you lived a long and beautiful life!

To know me is to know that my grandfather meant thee absolute W O R L D to me!! He was and will forever be my main man, my best friend in the entire universe, my EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! He was truly the love of my life! I am beyond thankful for God allowing me to experience you for 28 years of my life, but I’d be telling the biggest lie if I didn’t wish you could’ve stayed with me forever. You’ve given me endless love, wisdom, and everything a granddaughter could ever wish for and for that alone, I will forever cherish! I’ll miss your random FaceTime calls (you haven’t called on the regular phone since you’ve learned how to work it lol), I’ll miss us talking big shit to one another, I’ll miss your laugh, and I’ll most certainly miss you getting on my got damn nerves!!!

My old man, my FAVORITE man, my secret keeper, my HEART… Thank you thank you THANK YOU so much for everything!!!!! Job well done! I’ll always be your “stink” and forever “poppy’s girl”😣💘 by @only1.ming
