This weekend, we served over 300 families at our second free farmers market. The need is real, and we’re grateful to be able to help. We learned a lot and will keep working to make each market better for our neighbors. See you next month! ❤️ Thank you to AHF Food for Health, Kenwood United Church of Christ, Senator Mattie Hunter, Focus for Health, Blacc and our volunteers for helping make this possible! by @only1maribody

The past called. We referred it to an attorney. 😂 Did you know most misdemeanor and felony convictions in Illinois may qualify for sealing? 👀 Get free help with expungement and record sealing at a Social Change legal clinic, in partnership with Rights and Restoration Law Group, Ascend Co-Lab, The Springfield Project and New Leaf Illinois. *Some offenses are excluded. Eligibility and waiting periods apply. #socialchange #chicago #free #expungement #springfield by @only1maribody
The end of the growing season is always our favorite part of the year. Everything is coming to end, the veggies are harvested, the flowers are still blooming, the cool air, bright sun, you can feel fall coming. Despite the challenges we still showed up and worked hard. We had a vision of a jungle garden, filled with flowers, veggies, insects, community and animals. We’re proud that it became a reality. We learned a lot this season. Next year will be even better. Thanking everyone who participated and donated this year at the garden. @tpietrkowski @mylesforev3r @tasha.barber.10 @hijabikitty @sani33different @winstonstrawnllp @nicole.menyay @safepeacefulchi @cnrailway @illinois1867 @beverlysessenceandearth @parler_de_polly & more! We will still be having volunteer opportunities in October stay tuned for the dates! #chicago 1#socialchange #chicago #community #love by @only1maribody

Everything we do, matters. Everything we don’t do, matters. Slow down with me* This year we traded the fireworks, and marched for our rights. We spent this past July 4th traveling back home from an extraordinary day event in a hot summer day of July, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. 🌴 We gathered with different states to support, equality for love, equity and inclusion in healthcare, having a safe space to call home and all the rights reserved for the people. ALL people. I’m thankful to my team, my love who drove with me & trusted me in the process, grateful for our team in ATL for also ridding with us. We had a good time. Always grateful to @chisocialchange for the opportunity and allowing me to live MY dream, and not someone else’s. Grateful for all the sponsors who support Social Change. We do a lot of good work on the ground because of you all. I get to bring people together for a good cause, and to me that keeps me going. Like WV used to say, from one event to another 🩵🪽 Shout out to @blacc_ahf and @wtpmarch for all your leadership ♥️ Grateful for the team at @sixt_car_rental___ for the great rental. 🧡 @marriotthotels at Maritime hotel. ♥️ #WETHEPEOPLEMARCH #FAMILYROADTRIP by @only1maribody
