i’m proud of this, and here’s why:

one of my goals for this year has been working on my facial expressions. i still have a LONG way to go, but i’m proud of moments where something goes wrong on stage and i don’t break character.

back in march, i debuted an act that i’d ran dress rehearsals for countless times. and of course, nothing went wrong in those dress rehearsals! but when i got on stage and took my belt off, it got stuck hanging from the back of my fishnets (thank you for saving me @themistressmayhem!)

looking back at that video, i had a fair amount of embarrassment on my face and signaled to the audience that something had gone wrong. i was so happy to watch this performance back and see i kept my composure. in fact, i didn’t even catch the wardrobe malfunction until my billionth watch.

if you’re still reading & you haven’t caught the wardrobe malfunction, the rhinestones on my bikini bottoms got caught on my tights and made it difficult to open my legs. i yanked the rhinestone off and kept movin’ :)

$mane attraction was EVERYTHING 🥹💖 i can’t thank @a_lvara and @summerflings24 enough for asking me to be a part of such a meaningful show. it was beyond humbling to share the stage with this cast. i’ve spent so long looking up to every performer that i worked my ass off to elevate my act and rise to even a fraction of their professionalism and talent. thank you to everyone who came out — for cheering loudly, being respectful, and supporting queer & BIPOC art. having such a supportive crowd there (and a packed room!) filled my heart. stunning photos by @crazyezra taken in Legends Nightclub Complex by @onlyephemera$
