One of my all-time favourite bands playing songs from one of my all-time favourite albums. The last time I saw @dillingerescapeplan was for the first run of Calculating Infinity shows in Brooklyn, New York, and I honestly had no idea if that would be the last. Every single time I've seen them live (probably around the 11 - 12 times mark) each show has had its own meaningful significance and left me with that ear to smile only live music and a certain few bands can.

If that was the last time (Again) then thank you @dillingerescapeplan @benweinman @liam_wilson @dminakakis @billyrymer you absolutely destroyed last night and every time.

Or on the other hand... How about you go record an album, huh?

My festival season starts this weekend, so here's a view of my 2026 calendar.

@incinerationfestival - Extreme Metal festival across various venues in Camden. This will be my 5th time attending and always a great way to kick off the festival season. Don't miss @tombmoldband

@slamdunkmusic - Pop-Punk, Hardcore and Metal outdoor party. My first time at Slamdunk and I appear to have chosen the best lineup to date! Don't miss @malevolenceriff

@desertfest_london - DOOOOOM, Sludge and Rock n Roll 3 dayer in Camden. Another first time attending for me and a great chance to celebrate such an import end of the metal spectrum. Don't miss @clutchofficial

@outbreakfest - Hardcore weekender in Manchester. Already boasting one of my favourite lineups of the year, with more yet to be added! This will be my first of many Outbreaks to come. Don't miss @highvis

@2000trees_festival - I attended my first 2000 Trees in 2025 and instantly fell in love with everything they do. Perfect setting, incredible atmosphere, and a hell of a lineup. I honestly can't wait for this year. Don't miss @bronxovision

@bloodstockopenair - My yearly pilgrimage for everything Metal, this will be my 9th BOA and a festival that now feels like a can't miss occasion in my calendar. Don't miss @lambofgod

@arctangentfestival - Finally attending my first ATG and what an incredible lineup they have put together for 2026! A vast and varied mix of bands from the alternative end of the spectrum, very excited for this one. Don't miss @tonydanzatapdanceextravaganza

@allpointseastuk An opportunity to celebrate 3 of my most formative bands @afireinside @deftones and @deafheavenband in one day is wild! And one last chance to catch some outdoor festival sun towards the end of the season.

@damnationfestival - This will be my 5th Damnation and the festival I now look forward to the most every year. Delivering nothing but interesting and inspiring lineups and always a great opportunity to hang with friends and close out the calendar for another year. Don't miss @wojofficial

I've never really made a point of getting Setlists after shows, but I seem to have amassed a bit of a collection over the years and quite a few this year alone. Here's my favourite ones.

An evening with @dvntownsend at the @unionchapeluk was an absolutely incredible experience. As a long-time fan, to have Devin guide us through the history of all of his various projects and give us an insight into the various stages of his life was really fantastic.

This is a tough one. Andy Williams was a huge part of a band who came to be incredibly influential upon me for nearly as long as I've been listening to alternative music. I was lucky enough to see them live on countless occasions and even had the pleasure to meet him at several of those shows. He always took time out to talk with fans before and after and was incredibly humble and down to earth when he did. His music will forever hold mile stones in my youth that I will forever be grateful for. From myself and my best friend sitting in a park and listening to Hot Damn for the first time on a CD Walkman, watching them open my first US Warped Tour in Long Island, to being that band who would bring me and my wider friend group together every time they were in town. Andy Williams was a huge part in creating something I want my son to experience when it comes to positive communities and role models in music, and I'll be forever grateful for these memories.
RIP Andy Williams.
