🔦 Collector Spotlight - Thomas aka Blysk💉

✨ Meet Thomas! You may know him as Blysk, a familiar face in Singapore’s content creator scene, best known for his local comedy skits. But beyond the content, Thomas is also a TCG collector with a soft spot for Pokémon, One Piece, and new love, Riftbound.

At the heart of his collection is his Psyduck master set, with just one final card left to complete the journey: PokéKyun Psyduck. To Thomas, there is something oddly comforting about seeing a whole binder page of a Pokémon that looks just as stressed as he feels. 🐥

🎩 Thomas' top tip for fellow collectors? "Ignore what people say and find a unique reason that you like something: and just collect that. You could be collecting Geodudes or whatever, but your own special reason is what makes the hobby awesome. We will all have our own stories.

🕶️ Read more about his journey on our website under Collector Spotlight - Thomas(Blysk)!

Collect. Trade. Create. Give Back. 💙

This weekend at SCCS @ EXPO, we’re teaming up with OFL (Only Friends Lah!) @onlyfriendslah for a special Charity Initiative, bringing the collecting and creative communities together to support @shadee.care and @scys.sg.

Here’s how you can get involved:

🔄 Show Trade Up
Start small, trade up! Follow the journey as donated TCG items are traded for higher-value collectibles throughout the show, before the final item heads to auction.
100% of auction proceeds will go to Shadee.Care.

🎨 Local Artist Art Auction
Bid on original artworks created by local artists @hontonikireidesu, @mofinngram and @littlecai.studio.
Proceeds from every artwork auctioned will be split equally, with 50% supporting Shadee.Care and 50% supporting SHINE.

✨ JFYL 2026
The charity trade-up challenge continues at SCCS @ EXPO! Every successful trade helps grow the inventory value and raise more for the beneficiaries.
100% of proceeds will support SHINE Children & Youth Services.

Whether you’re trading, bidding, or simply helping us spread the word, every bit of support helps turn our shared love for collectibles into something that gives back. 💙

Join us at SCCS @ EXPO and be part of the initiative!

🔦 Collector Spotlight - Carrotmark ⚡

✨ Meet CarrotMark! An OG collector from the WOTC era, his journey started way back when Base Set, Fossil, and Gym Heroes were still on shelves. With whatever pocket money he had, he chased shiny holo cards and built childhood memories many collectors can relate to.

Beyond Pokémon, CarrotMark has also found joy in Gunpla, rediscovering the satisfaction of building something slowly and meaningfully. He also hopes to continue contributing to the community through JustForYouLah!, and is especially thankful to Yu Xuan for bringing him into the OFL family.

🎩 Mark's top tip for fellow collectors? "The current Pokémon market isn't the most sustainable for ripping packs regularly. So always remember to collect at your own pace and within your financial means."

🔦 Collector Spotlight - Ei Fong aka Aker

✨ Meet Aker! A true collector at heart, his journey began long before Pokémon cards found their way back into his life. From childhood Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards to Gundam models, action figures, and even lightsabers, Aker has always loved the thrill of discovering, curating, and displaying pieces that mean something to him.

His love for Pokémon was reignited through the nostalgic pull of 151, during a difficult period in his life. What started as opening packs soon became a source of comfort, excitement, and fulfilment — one card at a time.

🎩 Aker's top tip for fellow collectors? "I think its important to approach collecting with the mindset of collecting what you love no matter of it's value. A truly valuable collection is one that you yourself love like no one else in the world!".

🔦 Collector Spotlight - Shawn aka Yegrovault🏴‍☠️

🌊 Meet Yegro! For him, collecting started with the simple joys, beautiful artwork, the thrill of opening packs, and picking up pieces that felt cool. But over time, his journey became much more personal.

Rather than chasing what’s popular, Yegro collects on his own terms. If a card no longer excites him, he’s okay letting it go. To him, a collection should reflect who you are, what you enjoy, and how your taste evolves along the way.

One of his most meaningful pieces is his first serialized PSA 10 Monkey D. Luffy — a card he had been eyeing for a long time, and one that now represents how far he has come as a collector. More recently, he also traded up to a serialized BGS Black Label Zoro, a grail made even more meaningful by the journey it took to get there. ⚔️🔥

🎩 Yegro's top tip for fellow collectors?
"Rather than simply collecting (and holding onto) what you love, the better question is whether something still excites you and adds meaning to your collection."

🕶️ Read more about his journey on our website under Collector Spotlight - Yegro!
