Identity. Been thinking a lot about who I am and how I fit into this world. Have so many conflicting thoughts and feelings about race, culture, and gender. Seems like there’s no end in sight but I’m honestly ok with that. Things are always changing. Never static. by @onlyinsuenos

The intro bass is rough. Old song from an old feeling. The cycles of my life have been drawing me back into this music that used to flow out of me seemingly effortlessly. Want to come back with a lot more knowledge and discipline. A lot more experiences and understanding of who I am. Hoping that this can be my light during this next winter. by @onlyinsuenos

This feels like a really big moment for me. This is the first time where I’ve completed a piece and thought to myself, “I am a professional artist.” This was a commission that was requested of me by a friend out of the blue when I randomly decided to pull up. A lot of things in my life have been lining up and this is one of the most amazing of them. This was an opportunity for me to not only check myself on a creative level but on a “work” level. Pushing through the feelings of self doubt and the desire to quit. This was an amazing opportunity that I couldn’t be more grateful for and has strengthened my faith in myself as an artist that can make some sort of income from art and design. Shout out to my boy @andrew.mf.shull who these shoes were made for and has also provided a tremendous amount of support and inspiration on my artistic journey. #customshoes #shoes #custom #design #designer #acrylicpainting #poscamarkers #posca #artistsoninstagram by @onlyinsuenos
