Sometimes, the wisest thing you can do with a thought is NOT share it yet. 🌚

Lately, I’ve been reluctant to share my thoughts because, believe me, circumstances around me could easily influence my writings and the conclusions I draw from them. And omo, a lot of circumstances have been circuming 😂😭.

The funny thing is, when you’re in the middle of certain situations, it’s easy to interpret everything through the lens of what you’re currently experiencing. Before you know it, you’ve turned a personal experience into a general principle, and you’re preaching a message that might not even be entirely true. 😂

So, I’m taking my time. Sitting with these experiences, examining my thoughts, and allowing the situations to minister to me before I attempt to make a message out of them.

Because perhaps, not every thought needs to be shared immediately. Some need to be questioned, some need to be refined, and some need time to reveal what they’re really trying to teach you.

There’s definitely something to learn in this sha. 🌚

I just can’t find words to finish the message. 😭😂 by @onlyonenessi

One of those classic NCCF Chronicles. 😂 by @onlyonenessi

You might know your part so well that you’ve stopped listening to the choir. 👀😂

You know the soprano/alto/tenor/bass line.
You’ve sung it 17 times.

Your mouth has basically memorised the assignment. 😭
But choir singing is more than knowing your part.

Listen to the person beside you.
Listen to the lead.
Listen to the instruments.
Listen to the whole choir.

Because sometimes, the thing missing from your singing isn't another rehearsal…
It’s your ears. 👂🏽

Save this for your next choir rehearsal and actually try it.

CHOIR 101 #001 — DICTION

You can have a beautiful voice and still have poor diction.

Diction is simply how clearly you pronounce and communicate words while singing.

In a choir, this matters because you're not just producing sound. You're communicating a message.

Try this at your next rehearsal: take one difficult line from your song and speak the lyrics together slowly before singing them. Then sing it while deliberately exaggerating the consonants.
You'll probably notice something immediately.

Question: Does your choir struggle more with diction or pronunciation?

We had an outreach program that somehow led to another outreach. 😂

The Editorial and Publicity CDS group went on an outreach to the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) @absradiotv , and honestly, we learnt a lot. We got to see firsthand how both the television and radio houses operate, and that building really embodies so much.

We met different personalities, learnt about broadcasting, and got to see some of the work that goes on behind the scenes.

After we were done with the session, we suddenly had another interesting encounter. 😂 We met with the Youth President of Anambra State, Ken Okoli @ken_okoli_cyde , who spoke to us about his desire to see young people acquire practical skills that can sustain them beyond NYSC.

He shared how much he appreciates the SAED programme of NYSC and how passionate he is about supporting initiatives that equip young people for the future.

And yes, he didn't just talk to us. He also got us lunch. 😂❤️

He shared his personal story with us, spoke about his experiences and also introduced us to a book he wrote titled I BELIEVE IN NIGERIA 🇳🇬.

It was an insightful, educative and beautiful experience.

Sometimes, you step out thinking you're going for one thing, and life adds a bonus package. 😂

SEE YA ON THE NEXT ONE! 😂👑

I left with more than notes;I left with perspective.

Beyond Conversations wasn't just another conference. It was a reminder that failure doesn't have the final say, and addiction doesn't have to become your identity.

One thing that stayed with me is this: healing begins when we stop pretending and start confronting. Freedom isn't found in hiding; it's found in surrender, accountability, and grace.

We're all becoming. Some battles are visible, others are silent. But no one is beyond redemption, and no story is beyond God's ability to rewrite.

Grateful for every conversation, every lesson, every new connection, and every moment that challenged the way I think.

Thank you, Eric Gugua, for creating a space where difficult conversations lead to genuine transformation.

Here's to becoming better, one honest conversation at a time. ❤️ #Nessi #Beyonconversation #Godisinthisjourney by @onlyonenessi
