PREMIERE

𝘴𝘉 𝘙𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘦𝘸___For the 10th release on 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗺𝘀, label boss Marco Pellegrino aka Ancut brings a bit of Rome to his Berlin based imprint. Not only is he the man behind the label, but he also ran the mastering at his Analogcut studio. It’s a full circle production that gives the 𝗠.𝗢.𝗛. trio (𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗲 𝗥𝗶𝘇𝘇𝗼, 𝗢𝗻𝗼 𝗞𝗮𝗶 and 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗮) the perfect stage to show what they’ve been working on.

Our premiere B1. "Reason", the title track of the EP, is the hypnotic heartbeat of this release. The kick has that specific warm sound that hits your chest without aggression. As the groove rolls on, metallic pings and small melodic layers drift in and out. The M.O.H. guys aren’t rushing, they just let the hardware do the talking.

Instead of the usual house sounds, "Reason" is more like slowed down techno. It has a heavy, industrial atmosphere, but it keeps a steady pace that gives the sounds space. While the rest of the EP explores even darker EBM style sounds and trancey moments, this track stays focused on a raw, uncomplicated energy.

🎧 Play B1 on our SoundCloud & YouTube.
