@uqtouchfootball Premier Women’s firing heading into finals with a 9-0 win last Friday Night 🫡

First game I’ve shot where I planned out a few ideas I wanted to do in post production which really helped the editing side and gave me a bit more structure to shooting at the fields ❤️

A huge appreciation to Takoha Ropati

A true leader of our game and our people. The time, effort, and heart he pours into our communities goes far beyond the field.

What he has done for us as Māori has been transformative. Because of his leadership and vision, we’ve seen a many return to iwi identity, more players heading back to their iwi, standing proudly in their colours, and reconnecting with who they are. He has reignited pride in representing where you come from and encouraged so many to stand tall in who they are.

We’ve been fortunate to be part of this kaupapa from the very beginning. Even if our role has been small, we are truly grateful for the opportunity to work with @ngatihinetouch

He has sparked a movement that continues to grow, one of the best things to happen to our sport.

Seeing @rubenlove_ on the ground representing Ngāti Porou at this year’s Māori Touch Nationals is something truly special.

An athlete at the top of his game choosing to come home, to stand with his people and to give back to the kaupapa that give so much to our community.

It is more than sport. It is connection, legacy and a reminder to our young ones that greatness begins with knowing who you are.
