I have been on a sick testing spree lately!! These are the Sweater Weather socks by @knitwithjo and they are wonderful! All the textures make them so squishy and warm and wonderful like putting on a favorite sweater!

I used @knit_picks Stroll Tweed for the socks and I think they show off the textures perfectly!

Some may say mustard yellow isn’t a Halloween color, only fall, but I guarantee I will be wearing these socks through October with all of my Halloween graphic tees!

I had the pleasure to test these Ravenna Socks for @meeshyfrazz and I love them so much! I tried the shadow wrap heel for the first time and now it’s a new favorite!! I can’t wait to use it on some colorwork socks! The pattern is so well written and the final product is the perfect textured sock!
.
I used a bare @knit_picks Stroll yarn that I dyed myself with food coloring last year! It was so fun to see the subtle color variations work out better than I had hoped!

The All Eyes On You sock pattern is now out from @pennyandstitch!! It was such a pleasure to test this pattern and make this beautiful sock! (Yes it’s still waiting for its mate 🙈). I am sooo excited sock season is almost upon us so I can wear these with all my cute docs and loafers!

You probably can’t tell from the picture, but it’s been a deliciously overcast, rainy day here in Springville and I couldn’t be happier! I have on cozy socks, pajama pants, and didn’t sweat every time I went outside! I am so excited for summer to transition to fall-the most wonderful time of the year!

Working on these tester Ravenna Socks by @meeshyfrazz completes the vibe! They are looking so perfect in the @knit_picks Stroll yarn I hand dyed last year with gel food coloring haha! I can’t wait to finish them up!

It’s a double post sort of day because I got my latest @knit_picks ambassador package in the mail! I got a whole bunch of Dishie which is a 100% cotton yarn. Swipe to see the Hilma Cardigan pattern by @kolibri.by_johanna I plan on making with it! This pattern has been living rent free in my brain since the first time I saw it! I can’t wait to cast on for fall!

We have been hit by a whole lot of crap this month starting with my husband having foot surgery where he can’t put weight on it until October, then the cold of all colds that knocked me out for almost two weeks, the same weeks I started a cleaning and cooking job that I had to push through and accomplish, oh and our AC went out twice and my son started throwing up last night 🙈🙈🙈

In the middle of all that, the Thalia Top by @pearlbyrae came out and I didn’t get the chance to post about it except on my story!
.
I absolutely love how my top turned out!! The lace detail was so fun to knit and turned out so perfectly!! I’m excited to see how I can later with it in the fall too!! It was such a pleasure to test this amazing pattern!!

Also my kids were my photographers this time around, didn’t they do a great job! Haha!

It’s release day for the Lila Leaf top by @mipithelabel! It was such a joy to test out this pattern that has my daughter’s name! The different textured sections kept my brain engaged, and it’s been the perfect lightweight knit to wear this summer! I made a few modifications to the base pattern: I added a few more rows of knitting on the armbands for coverage, and added two more texture sections to the body to make it long enough for my long torso!

Go give this new pattern some love and find some sport weight yarn to make your own!

My go to summer knitting will now forever be LACE! I have three different lace projects on needles right now including this test knit of the Thalia Top by @pearlbyrae! I’m using @knit_picks Palette in Pucker and it’s turning out sooo good! It was my first time doing a picot hem and I think everything I make needs that now! 😍 I can’t wait to wear this alone in the summer or with a cardigan in the winter! Yay for versatility!

A little progress shot of my Pierre Top by @kolibri.by_johanna made in @knit_picks Comfy fingering. I am LOVING how the lace pattern is working up! 😍 I had to get some clarification on the chart and Johanna’s team got back to me so quick with an answer! I can’t wait to see this one finished up and ready for more hot summer days to come. The Comfy yarn is a cotton poly blend that’s so soft and drapey-I will be using it on many more projects to come!
