It's a real honour to co-author a book for the first with British sporting legend and icon @fatima.whitbread MBE. (I've previously authored two books)

Fatima is considered one of the greatest British track and field athletes in history and has an incredible story of resilience and hard work.

This opportunity came out of the blue so I didn't take it lightly to be part of history which involved sharing my legacy, serving my legacy and sowing my legacy with other like minded individuals.

The @onegoldennugget book series is titled 'The Strength Of Resilience' and all proceeds go to charity.

2026 The Year of Intentional Distinction 💡

With insight, inspiration and influence, I'm excited to announce 2026 as "The Year of Intentional Distinction."

Intention can be described as 'a determination to act in a certain way.' So, as the 2030's rapidly approaches, what I call the speed of change, whether you're a entrepreneur, employee, leader or student, more than ever before, you have to be intentional in serving value, intentional in sharing value and intentional in speaking value knowing 'value driven disruption' is a crucial commodity in the global village which is becoming even more local.

From RPA (robotics process automation) to generative AI, from AI driven customer service to chatbots (like ChatGPT), the possibilities are endless so with this, have you perceived the value you have to intentionally locate, intentionally leverage and intentionally lead with?

Wishing you and your family a productive, peaceful and prosperous 2026, the year of intentional distinction.

2026 The Year of Intentional Distinction 💡

On the 17th of July 2026, I had the distinct pleasure of becoming a 'Fellow of EuroKnowledge'.

EuroKnowledge Institute is a non-profit oriented higher education institution created to develop ethical leaders, visionary changemakers and compassionate professionals who are committed to strengthening communities across Africa and the world and is born from more than two decades of global leadership work through the @foreigninvestmentnetwork (FIN).

The reason I received this honour was because of my life story and legacy titled “From Detention to Distinction,” my global work as a leadership speaker, futurist and corporate trainer, and my humanitarian impact through 'The Onyi Anyado Legacy Foundation' plus I have been part of the EuroKnowledge journey through contributions at their previous events. The 13 pictures paint a perfect portrait, the era of creative distinction.

One things for certain and two things for sure, people are always observing your service, observing your skill and observing your stature.

On the way to the ceremony I penned the timeless aphorism below.

2026 The Year of Intentional Distinction 💡

I had an absolutely fantastic time in my capacity as a Corporate Trainer delivering a two day leadership training for delegates from NNPC E&P LIMITED which is the flagship upstream subsidiary of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited. 🇳🇬

Day 1 theme was 'Leading Through Disruption' where I covered topics such as:

* The yardstick 21st century employee
* Executive branding
* Organisational culture and branding
* Leading through uncertainty

Day 2 theme was 'Future leadership, the future of now' covering topics such as:

* AI and the future of work
* Strategic and disruptive thinking
* Leadership distinction and influence
* Adapting to change

It was an awesome day of listening, laughter and learning (that's my distinction as trainer) as delegates received practical insights, frameworks and a new order of learning, understanding and application on how to become future fit and a value driven leader of distinction to the 2030's and beyond.

Sharing with them that 2030 isn't just the start of a new decade but it's also the start of a new order of accelerated AI and massive disruptions across the workplace and their industry, it was no coincidence I ended the two days with the timeless aphorism below.

"In this era of creative distinction, it's now human, natural intelligence vs AI, artificial intelligence, to see who can create disruptive value at speed. Truly, there's no time to be lazy, lethargic and lifeless, but rather, it's time to be deliberate, it's time to be distinctive and, it's time to be disruptive." ~ @onyid777

2026 The Year of Intentional Distinction 💡

It was a real pleasure to be invited on a two day leadership seminar which consisted of 22 professionals seconded to various companies in the energy sector across Nigeria. 🇳🇬

It was an excellent time of listening, laughter and learning (that's my training and delivery distinction) as I shared strategic frameworks from my concept called 'Cutting Edge Distinction'.

Over the two days I spoke, coached and trained on topics such as:

📌 The yardstick 21st century employee.

📌 The future of work and the future of now.

📌 The distinction between a leadership mindset and state of mind.

📌 My AGILE Leadership™ framework.

One of the many highlights was hearing different delegates articulate what they learnt from my training and what they will now practically do which also aligns with their KPIs. Truth be told, that’s where transformation begins.

I ended the sessions with my timeless aphorism below which is the bridge between 2026 and the 2030's and the correlation between the exponential growth of AI, employee leadership and the future of work.

Fantastic time speaking and appearing on a panel at The D8Ai Club 'AI & the Future of Work' event which was held at Barclays Innovation Hub powered by Eagle Labs in London.

After introducing myself with my legacy and life story titled 'From Detention to Distinction' I spoke on topics such as the era of creative distinction, the yardstick 21st century employee, the future of now, the irony of disruption and my 3 C's Disruptive Leadership™ Framework.

It was an excellent time of connecting, conversation, learning and the application of a new understanding.

Absolutely fantastic time on @omegatv.uk speaking on the topic of 'Cutting Edge Leadership' the African way.

It was an amazing time of clarity, conversation and contemplation as we discussed on topics such as leadership in governance, leadership in organisations and leading from the future.

We spoke extensively on Africa as a continent and her problems and obstacles as well as the endless possibilities and opportunities.
