Je prends de la place, mais je suis sincère.
J'ai passé mon temps à essayer de plaire aux autres.
Mais j'ai fait suffisamment.
J'apprends à construire une vie humble et plein d'audace.
A analyser mes sentiments et modifier mes réactions.
Je dis oui aux choses qui me font peur.
Coeur pure mais filtré quand nécessaire.
Un peu plus de confiance en moi - je parle toujours trop... bien trop souvent à moi même de manière peu constructif.
Je next la mentalité de victime car nous devenons nos pensées.
Je manifeste une nouvelle vie de rêves avec la vraie moi dans l'optique.

For me it was a combo of therapy - including a lot of self work, antidepressants which I'm not deciding to stop and explore more natural roots and #1 is journaling/writing reminding myself who I am on the dark days.

Business plans in bed count...Fueled by Dairy Milk

I'm actually taking it seriously this time. I have to lock in, I have no choice.
I join a startup accelerator on Friday on top of my full time job.
My finances need attention
My discipline and consistency need some ADHD hacks
My distractions (cough cough boys) need zapping
I've got my PMDD symptoms down from half a month to a few days now and again thanks to the tools and tricks I've learnt and it's time to share them.
I'm locked in for real this time.
And have the right ladies in my orbit to keep me up 🫶 taken in Nairobi, Kenya by @oopsadayz

Took me almost as long to get out of the recovery phase as it did to realize what was going on as it did to actually post this..

Moral of the story is, the egg freezing process physically is manageable, the build up and the aftermath for me were a b**ch... As for all things hormonal when you're in it you don't understand what's going on... Once you're out the fog clears and nothing feels so hard anymore... The whole thing is a journey, it forces you to ask yourself questions you might not be ready to answer... to compare yourself to others... to 'question' what makes you a 'woman'... And it's something really hard to understand from the outside, or even one woman to another....

Yes I said crue trime.
Not a medical professional, thankfully not a juror in this case. Not questioning if she did it or not or in any way wanting to take away from the gravity and sadness of it.
Just thoughts and some form of gratitude that women's mental health issues are on the news, because more awareness can only lead to more help - I'd like to think so at least... So that maybe by the time I have kids, there is more help out there for people whose hormones mess with their brains in ways we don't yet fully understand or know how to manage.
Hormones are wild, our minds can be wild, life is wild blablabla by @oopsadayz
