Last week I finally saw my first spotted lantern fly in real life😑 I didn't realize they are so big and SO FAST. we were at a car dealership about 15 miles from home. The salesman said they see them landing on the light poles, and they do kind of look like tree of heaven trunks🤷🏻‍♀️ I couldn't move fast enough to smush it, the salesman distracted it with his clipboard and got it. I think I saw at least 4 while I was out there. by @oopsiknitmypants

We took our neighbors' dog down to the river for some yummy goose poop, but the flooding must have washed it away😂 Daegan picked out hair dye last week, and it turned out pretty nicely. Also found a random bullet casing? 🤷🏻‍♀️ by @oopsiknitmypants

Daegan REALLY wanted to ride his bike. So I loaded ours up and went to the bike trail. He only managed about 4.5 miles before the heat was too much. It was a real feel of 107° by the time we got back to the truck😬. I was pretty proud of myself because I haven't ridden this bike in several years, and I did not wreck🤷🏻‍♀️ by @oopsiknitmypants

Tiny lil hag moth caterpillar aka monkey slug on my truck. I wanted a finger for size comparison but did not want to touch it😅 and I guess that only works if you know how large my hands are. They are hand-sized. by @oopsiknitmypants

I learned so much and was much more interested in the tour at age 40 than previous visits during field trips 😅 the history of Harmon Blennerhasset was pretty mind boggling. That's what you get for marrying your niece🤨. by @oopsiknitmypants
