Cirque Le Strange - INTERNATIONAL HEADLINER ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! 📣 Please welcome your first cast member to our touring punk circus show, the world famous body modification star @thelizardman23 🦎 Tickets for the tour will be going live this weekend via @oztix 🎟️ There will be 10 VSP (Very Strange Person) tickets available per show, which will include a variety of extras to level up your show experience, including a meet and greet with the King of the Freaks! #thelizardman The tour kicks off this September and is being produced in conjunction with #oozingfuture and #ausvenueco by @oozingfuture

Before we head off on tour later this year, we’d like to take a moment to acknowledge the privilege that we have, in being able to travel around this incredibly stunning country. We know that White Australia has a Black History and we are striving to be strong allies to the Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people, who have always called this country home and have a deep understanding of its history and beauty.As a touring company, Oozing Future acknowledges the traditional custodians of the land on which we work, across the country. We pay respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Sovereignty was never ceded. Alongside the chaos of our stage shows, we are looking for ways and opportunities to connect with local communities of queers, punks, and outcasts, wherever we roam.Our #altcircus events in Naarm are our way of connecting with our hometown community and we love the atmosphere we get to share with everyone involved with creating the event and those who join us for the ride.Last year we took the opportunity of having our #goodthingsfestival cast in town and put on a Q&A styled event at #brunswickmechanicsinstitute called FREEDOM OF CHOICE.We invited local community to come and spend an evening in conversation with @thelizardman23 @jacqueline_furey and @casey_jenkins and explore all things #bodymodification #performanceart and body autonomy. It was a thrill to hear detailed stories from these artists about their experiences and processes. Returning for its second year, the Oozing Future Creative Lab is a free workshop series led by creative director Mitch Jones aka @captainruin Designed to assist emerging artists develop their creative practice, it combines small peer group studio sessions with taught masterclasses and workshops that support futures thinking. After a magnificent summer of tours and collaborations, it is time for us at Oozing Future to take a short break. We don’t want to disappear - but we’ll be less active on this page for a few months before we return to action in early April. Behind the scenes big things are coming for 2026, and in the near term Mitch is about to head to India for a research placement at an art centre in New Delhi.
