Saturday was the first day of our new art program for middle school artists. We're thrilled to welcome local artist and teacher, Mary-Gail King @marygailking who recently published a book of watercolor art inspired by Channel Island's wildlife, "Plants and Animals of the Channel Islands," which the students will use for inspiration. In this four week class students will practice watercolor techniques, color theory, composition and more. Thank you to our very generous, anonymous donor for making this new program possible. #OPACYouthArtStudio taken in Oxnard Performing Arts Center Corporation by @opacartstudio
