Another older commission I’m super proud of. The first (and I think only!) bearded dragon I’ve ever painted! I was super nervous and did about 20 practice paintings of him in my sketchbook and luckily the final piece turned out better. Practice makes perfect ✨

Really enjoying the cooler weather and I wanted to celebrate by making a fall themed piece!! A fruit bat eating a slice of pumpkin almost like fall watermelon 🍉 🍂 Looking back at the progress shot, I think I prefer the version with no background better 😭 What do you think? Does the bat get lost in the background?

Hello again~ 💖
Apologies for the sudden absence! Life got super stressful and hectic just before my boyfriend and I bought our first house! Then the chaos of moving after a late close ate up all my free time. After finally unpacking and getting settled, I suddenly had 4 commissions I had to balance right before leaving for a little vacation. After all that I’m having some health issues 🙃 I planned to jump fully back into art in August, but I think it’ll be a slower start. I’m so excited to paint again! I’m also really excited to catch up with all my friends here whose artwork I’ve sorely missed! 😭

This painting is one of my recently completed commissions. I was so nervous since it has been months since I’ve been able to paint, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out. The client loved it though, so I guess that’s really the most important part! So excited to be back to creating and honing my skills. I have so many projects and concepts just waiting to be picked back up and brought to life!

Never NOT obsessed with bats 🦇💖 They’re just so cute! Every summer when I was a kid, at least one would end up in our house. (I’m sure it totally has nothing to do with always leaving the door hanging open when we ran outside to play). Have you ever had a bat get into your house??

Soooo many failed attempts to paint a fox 🦊 Finally ended up with this piece, and I still have mixed feelings about it. The background is just….not quite right and I can’t figure out why 🙃 Constructive criticism welcome!

Landscapes can be so overwhelming to paint. My goal is to really improve at them. I take so many pictures when I’m out in nature or on trips, and I’d really love to be able to capture the feeling of being there in the painting 🌳

Red pandas are the cutest, and I will absolutely fight you if you disagree 💜 I always find the pictures of the spring cherry blossoms in Japan so inspiring, and they were the other half of inspiration for this illustration 🌸

My dream in life is to be able to confidently forage mushrooms like this sweet pink bear 🍄💖 I love finding them on walks but am always way too scared to try one even though I’m like 99% sure I know which one it is 😅
