After weeks of praying, planning, building, and preparing, we are finally ready to introduce what we have been cultivating behind the scenes.

THE BECOMING GARDEN
with Opeyemi
In conjunction with The Waiting Garden

A 12-week teenager development initiative, created to provide a safe, faith-led, and intentional space for teenagers to know God, understand themselves, discover purpose, build character, and grow into who they were created to be.

Because becoming takes time.
And every seed needs the right environment to grow.

Starts 24th October 2026.

There’s room for every teenager, just spread the word, invite someone, and let’s reach as many teenagers as possible!

Exactly three years ago,
In the stillness of a sermon,
A voice echoed through the words of Apostle Joshua Selman,
I said yes, to the best decision ever.

I honoured the call.
The call of my Father,
The One who formed me,
The One who found me.
And nothing has been the same since.

Three years of fire.
Three years of flight.
Three years of light.
Three years of stretching, breaking, building.
Oh, what a beautiful becoming.

I’ve grown, and I’m still growing.
I’ve soared, and I’m still rising.
In the secret place, I’ve died a thousand deaths to flesh.
And in return, I’ve found unshakable peace.

He gave me something this world could never offer.
A gift no man can give, and no man can take.
A love too deep, too vast, too holy.
I wept, healed, and rejoiced.

Thank You, Jesus,
For choosing this vessel
Flawed, but willing.
Unworthy, yet covered.
It’s not just a calling, it’s a covenant.

I am never turning back.
Never.
I’ve tasted and seen.
I’ve touched and been transformed.
The journey is alive, and I am all in.

With grace as my guide,
With mercy as my fuel,
I press on,
In daily death, clothed in humility,
Before my Father and my Lover.

So help me God. Amen. by @ope_omolaja

I've been quite sceptical about posting this.
I've gone back and forth about it.
But somehow, God kept bringing it back to my heart.
“Share it.”
And I realised that perhaps this testimony isn't just for me.
Maybe someone needs to see what God can do when you trust Him enough to take the next step.

So, here goes...

One whole year!!!

One whole year of God proving, in ways I could never have orchestrated, that He is faithful.

On the 4th of September 2025, I took a bold step of Faith.

I left the land I had always known, the familiar faces, familiar places, familiar routines, familiar comforts, and stepped into an unknown land that God had specifically prepared for me.

I didn't have the full picture.
I didn't know how everything would unfold.
I simply knew that obedience required movement.

Looking back today, I realise that the greatest thing God was doing was not simply taking me somewhere new.

He was taking me into a new dimension of becoming.

A year filled with lessons, stretching, growth, opportunities, many unexpected open doors, and moments that challenged everything I thought I knew.

But one part of this journey will forever remain special to me:

God sent men.
Not just people.
Genuine men!

Men who believed in me before there was enough evidence to justify their belief.
Men who opened doors, gave counsel, corrected me, challenged me, encouraged me, and invested in my becoming.
Some simply appeared at the exact moment I needed what they carried.

And talking about the gift of family and friendssss, I'm just so blessed!!!
Thank you all for the support!!!❤️❤️❤️

So, if you are currently standing at the edge of an unfamiliar season, remember this:
You don't need to have the whole picture to take the next step.
If God is leading you, trust Him, obey, and take that next bold step.

One year later, my greatest testimony is not where I am.
It is who God has been to me.

My prayer is that my life will continually become a living testament of His faithfulness, a testimony that gives someone else courage to trust God, take the next step, and keep believing.
