“ trypophobia”, 2021
This piece was also a free for all

Another piece for my sustained investigation for my junior year. I believe this and the previous painting I posted, I actually sent off to colleges to get ratings and maybe scholarships. Well, they came back during the summer, and I got a four out of five overall (OMGGG)
I am forever, grateful to be able to have mrs. long throughout my high school years, aand it is with deep sorrow that I couldn’t get into the class this year, because I had to do honors and also Votech. <3 by @open.minded.art777

“ ombrophobia”, 2021
this piece was a free for all, the phobia was inspired by the Netflix series “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window” (long ass name, great show tho)

This is definitely a piece that got me into the realization of my true art form. It was for the sustained investigation, my junior year in Art III pre-ap, my theme was “fears and phobias. I actually painted this in one of my friends rooms. I had asked her if I could use one of her canvases and paint a little something, and 30 minutes to an hour later I ended up doing this. My art teacher really liked it, and I got into the art show, I don’t remember what place I got though by @open.minded.art777

“King Kendrick”,2022

This piece was inspired by Kendrick Lamar’s “Mr morale” photoshoot.

kung fu kenny man😭 I will never be able to find the words to explain what a role model kendrick is to me. Since 2012, with my mom bumping “Swimming Pools”, i have always looked up to him, and considered him one of the greatest.(he is) Not a day goes by that i don’t blast his music, he is forever my #1 rap artist. Also, don’t even get me started on his concert bruh. He was my first, and i’m forever grateful for that.

“Psycho”, 2022
this piece was inspired by the cover of American Psycho. 2000.
This is definitely a piece i am most proud of, for years i have tried to find my art style. I could always draw, but not amazing, and although any type of art was always my jam, it wasn’t until i met some friends in high school that i realized what my style was. Those friends will never truly know how much they have helped me as an artist, Just to be able to sit with them and watch their progress helped me learn so much. Practice does not make perfect, practice makes progress. I hope to peruse such a career as i enter college, i cannot wait to see where it takes me:)
Thank you to my friends Allie, Olive, Nicole, Emily, and Veronica, you are all amazing artist, and some of my biggest inspirations<3
