I've been wanting to try some off camera flash on film. Loved how this one turned out from our shoot @beyababy

Using off camera flash with film just feels like a lot of guess work, no idea how the shadows are gonna land, if the flash is too bright or not bright enough. Using my v860iii speed light and x2t trigger, its all manual complete guess work with flash power, but it worked out

Shot a lot of these on the 10mm, bloody tricky with the manual focus when you're up close. It's so wide you can't tell what's in focus, but when it is, they're crispy and it looks sick

This is how I create all my own CRT TV effects.

Firstly, you need an hdmi to RF connector (or hdmi to av if your TV has av)

Connect your laptop to the crt and set up dual display in your computer settings

If your TV has tuning knobs like mine, you have to tune through until your laptop screen pops up.

Getting a CRT TV that has tuning knobs makes creating these effects endless compared to ones that just have buttons for channels

To record the TV, I set up my camera on a tripod in front of it, put a big blanket over both the camera and TV (so you don't get glare) and record
