Ok so y’all know I don’t post much but man this groove we fell into Sunday felt so good it was legit hard to end the song. When the whole room is vibin’ you know loc’d in to something! I absolutely love my TGP family and I love getting to be on stage with my brothers every week, they push me legit every time. We building something man. It’s real, it’s authentic, and it’s powerful. Fun Fact: My husband @openmike87 started his locs in Jan 2023. Another great local loctician installed them and once I graduated from Natural Hair School at @magicfingersinstitute I began maintaining them. This is his progress from then until now! Soooo I normally don’t post like ever lol but yesterday’s service at the @gatheringplacedc was powerful. There were so many dope moments that I had in my mind to post but God said to post this one. My pastor @jjhairston started declaring the joy of the lord in the room and things shifted quickly!! It was a powerful moment and let it minister to you and may this be our declaration for the rest of year. There’s so much going on in the world 🌎 and in our own individual lives that WE NEED the joy of the lord, for it TRULY IS OUR STRENGTH.

Today is the day of celebration!!! For today a beautiful gift was born into the world. I don’t need to go into a long soliloquy about how much you mean to me because you already know. But just know the highest compliment I can give is that you are the best version of God’s love in human form. You are literally the one who fits and complete my puzzle 🧩. God has used you in so many ways to teach me things I didn’t even know was in me. You constantly push me to be better but at the same time support me in such a loving and encouraging way. I’m so proud of the woman you are today. The Tiffany Harrison I met over 15 years ago, has evolved and grown so much and I’m honored to witness the evolution up close. So rarely in life you develop a lifetime bond with people. It’s hard at times to find people that you can relate to, confide in, pray with, be accountable to, and genuinely hang with. These guys are it for me. Over the past 5 or 6 years this unit has been assembled by @jjhairston and @_ronniecollinsjr. We haven’t looked back. We developed our OWN sound for the culture of where we were serving and we had fun doing it. Yesterday was bittersweet as it was my last Sunday serving at @cityofpraisefm. I’m grateful for all the times I’ve gotten to share the stage with these guys. We genuinely bonded on and off our instruments. This is tough for me personally because I’m closing a chapter of my life literally, but I’m optimistic and excited about what’s ahead. We will forever be linked. I’m super excited that the drumseat will be in great hands and my bro will take the band to another level without a doubt and quickly become apart of the family as well. Missing a few in this pic but we’re family for life. Music is one of the highest forms of human creative expression and worship to God. This is my sanctuary, this is a place where I go to lay my burdens down. This is my altar. This is the place that gives me inspiration and gets me through when I don’t have words to express what to say. I’m grateful to the ultimate gift 🎁 giver, who gives us many ways to honor him and something that I don’t cherish enough. This is NOT a requirement, this is a privilege. We as creatives GET to do this. No matter how heavy life is, Music will always be my altar, Music will always be my sanctuary. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Happy Mother’s Day to all the beautiful Mothers out there!!!! It’s NOTHING like a mother’s love ❤️. All of the sacrifice, blood, sweat, and tears it takes to be a mother is unmatched. THIS Mother’s Day is extra special to me because my mother probably means more to me now than at any other point in my life. She showed up and was a blessing to my wife and I in so many ways I didn’t realize we needed. During this time in my life I didn’t realize how much I needed her until she was there....and she will always be there because that’s what mothers do. I’m truly grateful to have my mom in my life. Love you Vonda Arey!!!!

Through marriage I’ve also gained a second mom, she is one of the most graceful women I’ve ever met in my life and she embraced me from the day I met her. She is the reason why my wife @mrs.tiffharr is here and I’m forever grateful for her being the woman she is. I love you also Shirley Adams!! Also major shout to my grandma!!!!
