I had the honor to work with 400 Miami Country Day middle school students, introducing them to something simple but powerful: awareness of the breath.

We explored how breathing can influence the way we feel, how we respond to stress, and how quickly we can shift our internal state.

Watching these young people slow down, reconnect, and discover that they have a reset button inside them, that was unforgettable.

For me, this work matters because these are life changing tools that we can learn early in life — tools for managing stress, building awareness, and creating a little more space between what happens to us and how we respond.

Grateful to the school @miami_country_day_school for trusting me and to the students for showing up with curiosity and courage.

Breath Awareness is Presence💫

It’s strange how clearly you can see something in yourself and still find yourself doing it again.

You may know exactly what it is. You may understand where it came from. You may have worked on it before.

And still, when the moment comes, what’s familiar can be surprisingly easy to return to.

REPATTERN gives you 3.5 uninterrupted hours to experience that differently.

On October 17, Yury Opendik of Evolve With Yury @openmind_inc and Alissa Haggstrom of Aquarian Sound Medicine @aquariansoundmedicine come together for an afternoon of Evolutionary Breathwork & Transformational Sound Medicine.

The first part of the afternoon is an immersive Evolutionary Breathwork experience with Yury, moving through breath, meditation, guided introspection and the places you tend to pull back, push through or return to what’s familiar.

From there, the experience continues through an original Sound Medicine composition created by Alissa and brought to life with Matt specifically for this gathering. If you’ve experienced a sound bath before, the setting will feel familiar, with the room and everyone in it surrounded by sound.

What you’re experiencing continues, even as the way you experience it changes.

The Energetic Weather™ of October 17 puts particular focus on what has run its course, what still belongs in your life and the difference between what’s familiar and what you actually want to keep choosing.

What happens in the room is only part of it.

The real question is what happens the next time the old pattern shows up.

Early Registration · $99 through October 4
Regular Registration · $129
VIP · $229
Hi-Fi Livestream · $44

Saturday, October 17 · 2–5:30 PM
The Ora Lodge Great Room · Sarasota

Registration at the link in bio.

My mom was born in a small village on the outscurts of Yaroslavl at the beginning of world war 2.

Her father died in the war before she turned 1.

She survived food shortages, famine and complicated family dynamics.

She left home at 18 and finished medical school in Arhangelsk where she met my father.

She became a respected doctor and practiced general medicine in St.Pitersburg where she had 4 kids with my dad. They divorced when I was 4, she remained a single mom after that till end of her days here.

She let me go when I was 10 to emigrate to USA with my father. She regretted that decision and suffered deeply for it. She wrote me countless letters and could not forgive herself for letting me go.

She sacrificed her personal life, career and moved to USA to be closer to me when I was 15.

She spend the rest of her life helping raise my sisters kids and making sure everyone was well fed - a byproduct of famine during WW2.

She was strong minded, direct but a very loving mother.

She loved how she could. Often times with tough love but it’s was love. She loved not with words but with actions. It was complicated.

She battled cancer last 20 years of her life. She was a fighter, and never complained.

My mother Надежда Сергеевна Мухина is survived by three daughters, one son and nine grandchildren.

In my heart forever mom ❤️💔❤️
