I’ve been dying to try this darker, flowier variation of my style for a while! Thank you so much to @aplumwood for being my Guinea pig and for the great yarns 🫶🏼 inspired by gothic art nouveau
This turned out exactly as I’d hoped and I would love to explore this style more!
Discounts will be applied for requests similar to this style. florals, insects, abstract, ornamental 🌹 taken in Wellington, New Zealand by @openroadtattoo

Had so much fun tattooing this one. There’s something extra special about seeing one of my flash designs get picked and brought to life :) Thank you for the trust! by @openroadtattoo

“Hey, I’m Amy and I’ve just joined the team at Open Road.
I’ve been tattooing for just over 5 years and for almost two of these I’ve been in New Zealand. Living in Wellington is like a dream - everyone says thank you to the bus driver, genuinely asks how your day is going, and I still don’t really understand what ‘chur’ means, but it feels like home here already.

I started tattooing when I was living in Amsterdam. I did my apprenticeship in a fine line studio and that became what I love tattooing: fine, delicate and detailed things. I started because of my love for drawing- ever since I could scribble in my school books, it’s been my happy place.

I think tattooing is about connection, needle to skin and artist to client, one of the best things about it is getting to meet people from all walks of life.”

We’re beyond stoked to have Amy on our team! To book with Amy, send her an email with your idea 🫶🏼
