He’ll Be Home for Christmas! 🎄❤️

Brian Whitted’s VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS returns to Thalian Hall (@thalianhall) this holiday season — but this time, he’s bringing the Christmas spirit to the main stage! ✨

A Fayetteville native, Brian (@bdubs4keys) returns for the sixth year of VERY MERRY, sharing the stage with some of Wilmington’s finest musicians and performers.

It’s the hottest ticket of the holiday season — and it sells out every year! This year, we’re moving to the main stage, which means more seats and more chances to be part of this beloved Wilmington Christmas tradition. But don’t wait — we expect these shows to fill up fast!

A powerhouse of musical brilliance, Brian Whitted is a seasoned pianist, conductor, and music director whose career has spanned Broadway, international tours, and collaborations with some of the biggest names in entertainment including Bette Midler, Roberta Flack, Phylicia Rashad, and Bebe Winans just to name a few.

SHOWTIMES ⭐
Saturday, Nov. 28 @ 2:00 PM
Saturday, Nov. 28 @ 7:30 PM
Sunday, Nov. 29 @ 2:00 PM

🎟️ Tickets go on sale Friday, September 25 at 12:00 PM.

Tickets may be purchased online at www.ThalianHall.org, in-person at the Thalian Hall box office (Mon-Fri, 12:00-5:00 PM), or via phone at (910) 632-2285 during their business hours.

Our very own Jason Aycock will take the reins moving into our upcoming 42nd season. If you don’t know Jason, he’s served as company manager since 2021 and prior to that worked as performer, director, and choreographer. But c’mon- you’ve probably seen him onstage- right?! 🎭

“I’m grateful for the trust that Justin and Carson have put in me and for their mentorship. I wear this title with pride following in the footsteps of seriously talented people like Alice Sherwood, Ray Kennedy, and of course Lou & Mary James Criscuolo. A special shout out to Ron Chisholm for casting me as Teen Angel even when I was late on my very first day of rehearsal. We have such an exciting season that has something to offer for everyone- audiences and artists. And I know we’ll continue to provide the same top notch productions that we have for the last 41 years!” 🥳
