Meet one of our final two Artists-in-Residence for the season: soprano Shanley Horvitz! ✨

Acclaimed for her ability “to spin lovely, warm legato phrases, replete with ease of emission, dynamic variety, elegance, yet holding obvious power in reserve,” Shanley made her American debut with OSJ as Meg Page in Falstaff and took 2nd place in our Irene Dalis Vocal Competition.

This season, she’ll embody the iconic role of Golda in Fiddler on the Roof before starring as Mercédès in our Spring 2027 production of Carmen! 🌹

🔊 Sound on: Listen to this audio clip of Shanley performing Verdi’s "O don fatale" from our most recent Irene Dalis Vocal Competition. 🎧
