“Great leaders don’t set out to be a leader.
They set out to make a difference. It’s never about the role- it’s always about the goal.”

-Doug Thorpe

“Community service has taught me all kinds of skills and increased my confidence. You go out there and think on your feet, work with others and create something from nothing. That’s what life’s all about.”

-Andrew Shue

Well done, volunteers!! We made a major dent in this spot today. You all are huge part of what makes Augusta such a special place to live. ♥️ One volunteer pointed out that this area has the potential to be a charming little place to enjoy nature. We want to make that happen.

Big thanks to our frequent trash collector, Michael Moeller, for taking the initiative to get the ball rolling on this. We also want to thank our good friend Kim Dillard for working with us today and securing supplies from the helpful people at the Environmental Services Department.

Tremendous thanks to every single person who spent their Sunday morning enduring the aromas and wading through garbage to make our home a little more beautiful. You’re all wonderful.
