I’ve been excited about this for a while now and am so excited to share that…my campaign is official live!

A Spectrum Of Blerds is a documentary that explores how Black neurodivergent individuals navigate the dual constraint of cultural masking and using the vibrant world of nerd culture as a sanctuary to drop their guards and build authentic community.

This project takes an intimate look at how Black nerd (Blerd) culture has become both a sanctuary and battleground for neurodivergent minds. A Spectrum Of Blerds captures the undeniable magic found at the intersection of identity, mind, and pop culture, painting a masterful portrait of a community built entirely on its own terms.

✨EARTH DAY✨

I haven't actually "celebrated" Earth Day since I was a kid but looking at how reckless we've become with this planet, it reminds me of something I was taught as a kid.

Always leave a place better than when you found it.

Now I know when some of us entered this plain of existence, earth wasn't doing too well then either *but* since we're still here, let's try to be a little more intentional about how we treat this spinning blue rock we're all on.

New month, new ✨journal prompt✨

This month inadvertently brought to me the reconciliation of a previously broken relationship. While we won't get back what was lost, we're finally able to genuinely start over.

✨April Writing Prompt✨

Apologies for the writing prompt delay! Spring has sprung and for me that mean allergies 🤧

As usual - get creative, don't overthink it, and most importantly...have fun! ☺️

✨Welcome to April✨

If you know me at all you know that autism touches my life two fold. My kid and I both are autistic and it has been the most interesting life for us 💜

All month I will be answering any questions you have for me about how it affects my life personally and raising a child who is diagnosed.

Keep and eye on my stories!

Happy Autism Acceptance month 😊 by @ophelia_writes
