THIS movie was everything! It was so organic and beautiful and sooooo necessary, considering what's happening at this moment in time.

This movie is indeed in the lineage of "Jason's Lyric" and "Love Jones." Anika and Carousel are so real and so remarkably written and played...their like folks I know and brush shoulders with in my own community.

Mr @tylerperry please, please, pleassssse do not create a Doing Life 2!

There are some movies that should end exactly the way they end. In this case, Doing Life should do just as Jason's Lyric and Love Jones did—simply end, leaving us with this "dreaming room," this sense of incompleteness that allows viewers to imagine what happens to the characters going forward.

Please let this be the case for Doing Life.

The way it ended leaves a resonance, a dreaming room that allows us to imagine them both moving forward into beautiful, love- and light-filled lives together—healing and being healed; loving and being loved.

It's full of promise, imagination, and hope!

Please, please do not create a sequel. Some things (like this movie) are perfect in the moment, just as they are.
