So we decided to FIX-UP.

On Saturday, 10th October, we’re bringing together some of the sounds we love but don’t hear nearly enough of on one dancefloor.

Familiar sounds, different energy. UKG sliding into hip-hop, reggae finding its way into jungle, breakbeats showing up wherever they damn well please.

No boxes. No one-genre-all-night business. Just three artists digging through sounds that were made to move people.

DJ Ban is back behind the decks this Friday.

By now, we’ve stopped trying to put a name to what Ban plays. His sets have brought a completely different sound to O POÇO. Eclectic, unexpected, a little strange in all the right places and somehow always keeping you moving.

He’s back this Friday with another bag of exquisite sounds and we’re very ready to see where this one goes.

DJ Ban is back behind the decks tonight at O POÇO.

Trying to put a genre on what Ban plays is probably missing the point. His spectrum of music is something you need to experience rather than name.

It starts somewhere familiar, wanders somewhere strange, keeps you on the dance floor and progressively gets more insane as the night rolls on.

A brilliant musician. A ridiculously exciting DJ. And easily one of the freshest sounds we’ve heard coming through our room.

There’s something about live music.
It hits somewhere a playlist never can.

The Usual Suspects came in and absolutely set the room on fire.
Then Baawri Basanti took over and suddenly, everyone was just in it. Lost in the music, hanging onto every note. What a performer. What a set. Thank you @nariyal.paani @chinxminx @royayudh for doing this

And just when we thought we were done, Anirban took us all the way into the morning and somehow left the room on an even bigger high.

Three acts. Three completely different energies. One very, very good night.

Couldn’t have asked for a better ending to the beautiful chaos that was the O POÇO Weekender.

Live music, man. Nothing touches the soul quite like it. ❤️‍🔥
