✨ The week before your spray tan is just as important as the tan itself. A little prep goes a long way toward achieving a smoother, longer-lasting, more even glow.

Here’s how to get your skin ready:

• 💧 Moisturize daily with a barrier-supporting moisturizer to keep skin healthy and hydrated.
• 🧤 Exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment using an exfoliating mitt or gloves, paying extra attention to knees, elbows, ankles, feet, and any leftover self-tanner.
• 🪒 Shave 24–48 hours before to allow your skin time to settle and help create an even canvas.
• 🪮 Wax 3–4 days before your appointment to give your skin time to recover.
• ☀️ Skip UV tanning and excessive sun exposure to avoid dry, irritated skin.
• 🏊 Avoid pools and hot tubs in the days leading up to your appointment, as chlorine and prolonged soaking can dry out your skin.
• 🚫 Avoid oil-based scrubs and heavy body products during your final exfoliation, as they can leave behind residue that interferes with even color development.

✨ Today’s the day! Your prep is done, now it’s time to arrive with clean, dry skin so we can create your best glow yet.

Before your appointment:

🤎 Shower at least 4–6 hours before your appointment.

🤎 Arrive with clean, completely dry skin.

🤎 Do not apply lotion, moisturizer, body oil, perfume, deodorant, makeup, or SPF. These products can create a barrier and affect how your tan develops.

🤎 Avoid sweating or any activity that could leave your skin damp before your appointment.

🤎 Wear loose, dark clothing and flip-flops or slides to help protect your fresh tan on the way home.

Here’s how to care for your fresh spray tan:

🤎 Wait the recommended development time before your first rinse.

🤎 For your first rinse, use lukewarm water only, skip soap, shampoo, and conditioner unless otherwise instructed.

🤎 Gently pat your skin dry with a towel. Avoid rubbing.

🤎 Moisturize daily with a barrier-supporting, oil-free moisturizer to keep your skin hydrated and extend the life of your tan.

🤎 Limit long, hot showers, swimming, hot tubs, and excessive sweating, as these can cause your tan to fade more quickly.

🤎 When it’s time to remove your tan, allow it to fade naturally and gently exfoliate, never scrub aggressively.
