Some of the things that got me through OD1 was finding time outside of school to do things for myself or romanticize studying with a drink or study group :)

★ TIPS FOR FUTURE OD1 ★
Highly recommend figuring out in your schedule how to do things for yourself like working out or cooking that will make you feel good and refreshed before going back to the study grind ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ by @optomabre

♡ come make a matcha with me ! ft. yame first harvest @namimatcha
╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

this was my first time making matcha in the morning before my long day of classes and clinic !
now, it’s a morning ritual for me that brings me joy to start my day :)

☆ TIP FOR FUTURE OD1 ☆
find your morning ritual if you can ! i made myself a morning person to make time to study, workout, and find some peace. sometimes it’s hectic after lab or class , so the morning routine might be for you instead ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ by @optomabre

first day/week of OD1 was full of so much excitement for what was coming up!
Mi mentors definitely made it better with small snacks and equipment labels.

This was also my first whiteboard of many throughout the year. One of the study methods that I found personally working for me and maybe for you !

☆TIP FOR PAST SELF/ INCOMING OD1 ☆
Enjoy the free time you have in the beginning but also figuring out designated study times and learning little by little goes a long way :) by @optomabre

White Coat Ceremony 🥼🤍

May I never let myself forget the people who got me here today and made me who I am. I hope to make my family and friends proud as I start my new journey to become an optometrist.

Excited and nervous for what’s to come !!
