MASE @ the World's Most Beautiful Stadium: sprinkling a little bit of our award-winning magic on any and every event. 🥂 ✨️ 🧡 💥 🏟 👑
POSTS STORIES REELS
Some of the most important lessons our boys take away from Trinity have nothing to do with what they’ve learnt in a classroom.   During one of the final moments of their Year 12 journey, our students and their parents exchanged letters, sharing words of love, gratitude and appreciation for the people who have stood beside them throughout their school years.   There were smiles, tears, plenty of hugs and a beautiful reminder of what truly matters.   As our Head of Year 12, Mr Corey Miskiewicz reminded the Class of 2026, life is about showing up for the people around you. Celebrating their wins, supporting them through challenges and making time for the relationships that shape who we become. 💙💚   #TCSpirit #ClassOf2026 #MenForOthers #TrinityCollegePerth #Graduation2026 by @optusstadiumspecialevents

GLOBAL MENTAL HEALTH SUMMIT 2026 | BRIDGING THE GAP Last week, I had the privilege of presenting at the Global Mental Health Summit 2026 in Perth, alongside an incredible range of speakers sharing professional expertise, research, cultural knowledge, lived experience and innovative approaches to addressing mental health challenges within our communities. I presented on "Bridging the Gap: How Grief Literacy, Language and Peer Connection Improve Mental Health Outcomes." As a social worker and founder of Grief Connect®, I shared how our online and face-to-face bereavement support communities bring people together through shared experiences, storytelling, understanding and connection. I also shared the professional oversight, governance and considerable behind-the-scenes work involved in creating and maintaining safe, supportive peer communities, including the challenges of managing online groups and the responsibility that comes with supporting people experiencing grief. Peer support has enormous value, but it doesn't happen without significant time, commitment and professional responsibility, particularly when communities continue to grow. For the past eight years, I've seen firsthand the difference that connection can make for people who are grieving, particularly those who feel isolated, misunderstood or forgotten after the initial support following a death has faded. There is an important opportunity to recognise and strengthen professionally guided peer support as part of our broader mental health and community support systems. Thank you to the organisers, Ramdas Sankaran CEO and all the team at the Multicultural Services Centre and all organisers, fellow presenters and everyone who contributed to such valuable conversations. I welcome conversations with government, funding bodies, researchers and organisations interested in strengthening the role of professionally guided peer support within Australia's health and community service systems. by @optusstadiumspecialevents
