Hey, everyone, have you heard this story? When Francis entered the little church of San Damiano looking for answers, he ended up hearing a call that would completely change his life: “Francis, go and repair my Church,” but there was something much deeper that needed to be rebuilt.

Corazón Puro Recap | October 10 🍁✨

Last month, with Fr. Agustino, we reflected on how true intimacy begins with a relationship with God. This month, we explored how dating calls for patience from women and courage from men.

Dating is a process that can be understood in three stages: infatuation, friendship, and betrothal. During small-group discussions, we shared our thoughts and experiences before spending time in adoration before Jesus in the Eucharist, with Br. Lazarus leading worship.

We ended the evening with wine and light bites. Thank you to everyone who joined us!

Hey, everyone, I’ve often heard young people talk about how much they want to find “the right person,” constantly asking themselves:

Is he the one? Is she the one? What if he’s my soulmate? What if he never comes along? What if he already came along and I didn’t realize it? 😱

And while we’re desperately searching for “the one,” we sometimes forget a much more important question: Who am I called to be? Because before you build a relationship with someone else, there’s one person you’re going to spend your whole life with: yourself.

That’s why it’s important to know your heart, your wounds, to learn to love, to set boundaries, to discover your calling, and to learn who you are before God.

It’s not about becoming a “perfect” person before loving someone. It’s about allowing God to shape you so that, when the time comes to give yourself fully, you have something genuine to offer—because love doesn’t begin when you find someone.

Love also begins when you discover who you are and what you were created for. ❤️‍🔥

Oye mi gente, muchas veces he escuchado a los jóvenes cuanto desean encontrar “a la persona indicada”, preguntándose constantemente:

¿Será él? ¿Será ella? ¿Y si es mi alma gemela? ¿Y si nunca llega? ¿Y si ya pasó y no me di cuenta? 😱

Y mientras se busca desesperadamente al “the one”, a veces se nos olvida una pregunta mucho más importante: ¿Quién estoy llamado a ser yo? Porque antes de construir una relación con alguien, hay una persona con la que vas a vivir toda tu vida: tú mismo.

Por eso, es importante conocer tu corazón, tus heridas, aprende a amar, a poner límites, escubrir tu vocación y aprender quién eres delante de Dios.

No se trata de convertirte en una persona “perfecta” antes de amar a alguien. Se trata de permitir que Dios te forme para que, cuando llegue el momento de entregarte, tengas algo verdadero que entregar, porque el amor no comienza cuando encuentras a alguien.

Assisi, the land of St. Francis… and the gift of walking through its streets, entering its churches, visiting the places where Francis lived, prayed, wept, served, and discovered his vocation… reminds you that the saints were not just figures on prayer cards.

Francis heard the Lord calling him to a life completely different from what he had probably imagined. And that little “yes” ended up bearing fruit that still reaches thousands of hearts today; that’s why today we’re not just celebrating St. Francis—we’re celebrating that God is still calling.

And perhaps the question isn’t just “What did Francis do?” but rather: What does God want to do with my life if I, too, dare to say yes to him?

Asís, la tierra de San Francisco... y el regalo de caminar por sus calles, entrar en sus iglesias, visitar los lugares donde Francisco vivió, rezó, lloró, sirvió y descubrió su vocación… te hace recordar que los santos no fueron personajes de estampita.

Francisco escuchó al Señor llamarlo a una vida completamente distinta a la que probablemente había imaginado. Y ese pequeño “sí” terminó dando frutos que todavía hoy llegan a miles de corazones, por eso hoy no solo celebramos a San Francisco, celebramos que Dios todavía sigue llamando.

Y quizá la pregunta no es solamente “¿qué hizo Francisco?”, sino: ¿Qué quiere hacer Dios con mi vida si yo también me atrevo a decirle que sí?
