ORANGE MATTERS: LEGENDS EDITION
DADDY OWEN: THE KING OF URBAN GOSPEL

Yeap you read that right...DADDY Owen is the King of Urban Gospel...not just in Kenya but Africa as a whole. 🤴🏾🤴🏾

He established this when he won the MTV MAMA Award as the first Gospel artist in Africa in 2010 and locally propelled to become one of the biggest household names.🙌🙌

It is for this reason that when he calls, we answer...so this coming Sunday, the 27th of September, we should all make our way to CITAM Karen for The Call. It is a time for us to worship and sing and just remind ourselves how wonderful the era of Urban Gospel was in Kenya at just 1000/=.🥳🥳

For this reason, he has earned the title MASTEEEERRRR 🙌🙌🤴🏾🤴🏾 in ORANGE MATTERS: LEGENDS EDITION 🙌🙌🤴🏾🤴🏾

For a long time, scriptwriters have struggled with scripts in their own rooms....buuutttt... here is Story Lab, an initiative where scripts are discussed and feedback given from different filmmakers.

This is under The Talent Studio by Nice Githinji...and you can reach out via their email or contact on The Talent Studio's bio.....to join Story Lab!

This is open to all filmmakers and especially writers who would want to have their scripts discussed and you can get key pointers on your story and how to tighten plots, themes, characters etc...whilst everything regarding your copyright is still protected.

See you there!!🥳🥳

Kenya has good actors...very good actually...that one of them is representing Kenya and East Africa in the African Monologue Finals in Ghana...🙌🙌

As a past participant myself, I would like to acknowledge how big of a deal this is to Mwenda Nyagah...getting the chance to compete at an international level...and making it to the Finals! 🥳🥳

Voting makes up 30% of the total votes and I know as Kenyans🇰🇪🇰🇪...this is where we shine the most...let's vote for our own at africamonologue.com and help him bring this home!!🥳🥳

As we conclude this conversation, we hit the nail on the head on what the main issue in the film industry is. With proper budgets, every sector gets the best of the best and the effect trickles down.

Let me know what you think about this.
