The Killah Whales Of Gotham 2 OUT NOWAnother album independently under my own record label Orca Sound Records.This project plays like a late night drive you don’t talk about.I wanted the cover to feel like those New York winters we grew up on. That real 90s cold. The kind that made the city honest. Brooklyn Bridge, New Year’s Eve, midnight already passed. You got your hug and kiss out the way. Now the night actually starts. Link with the gang. Who’s sparking!? Windows cracked, air freezing, streets moving different.This year was the coldest winter I ever felt, so I scored it like a movie. Produced the whole thing with Casella. Me and Jimi Banks went bar for bar the entire way, no shortcuts.This is the best I ever rapped. Who might be top 5 greatest producers of this generation. Still balancing his job and music is a rare thing to see. There is something sacred about building music with someone who understands burden. No industry fantasy. Just cold air, steel trucks, and discipline.Jimi Banks was my favorite rapper when we were in high school together in math class. Now he is the first rapper signed to our label. This album feels like walking through Manhattan after midnight in a snowstorm.Beautiful. Lonely. Expensive. New York has been buried in snow all year.So I gave you something to play while it falls.
