Mural Project by my granddaughter, Aubrey Fouliard. She used a projector to place the giraffes where she wanted them, then added greenery giving this child’s play room nature vibes. Her attention to detail on these stately giraffes is awesome. Full room reveal to follow. 🌴 by @orcharddaze

Daily walk down the canal path today held a surprise. Fluffy cottonwood seeds gathered on the path edges, adding interest to the adventure. #canaltrail #lockport #goldenretrieverlovers #dailywalks taken in Lockport, Illinois by @orcharddaze

This pup came into our lives January of 2013. She enjoyed life and loved people. She exemplified the ideal Golden retriever temperament, she was oh so special. We will miss her dearly. But we were so blessed to have her for 12 golden years. #goldenretrievers by @orcharddaze

As I freshen up after the holidays, I have a renewed appreciation for our cozy kitchen. We embraced the oak cabinets despite their 1986 vibes. Wall color, Pleasant Valley, by Benjamin Moore, was thoughtfully chosen(think obsessive research for months) to complement those vibes. Although the backsplash wallpaper felt a bit busy at first, I’m calling it “layering of complimentary patterns. Apparently giving the room depth. Added warmth from the stained glass lamp credited to a thoughtful gift from my children. I a an avid proponent of the design process of use what you love, and don’t be overly matchy. I spend many happy hours in this kitchen. Thought I’d share a peak on my little corner of Instagram. #oakcabinets. #cozykitchen #grateful by @orcharddaze
