Apples at Apple Fest. Just popped in to have a look. Lots and lots of them. But I didn't see anyone making any juice which They usually do. The apples weren't named, but there were many different ones.

Did a walk round Trowbridge cemetery this week. Full of history, and gravestones. I like visiting churchyards to photograph, often very interesting.

At my u3a Breadmaking and Baking group yesterday, we made a Saffron loaf, and I added some buns. It took basically all day!! Were there till 1pm then came home to do the rest. It took ages, finished at 6pm!! Glazing optional, I didn't. Slightly too brown I think. It does taste nice but I don't think it's yellow or tasty enough. So not enough Saffron. Don't think I'll be doing it again. The Saffron loaf is a Cornish concept.

Who's been practising his acrobatic skills! And I love a prehensile tail. In fact this word is a favourite. Very seldom have a squirrel in the garden.
