VOLITION TEA X WHAT MARGIE MADE

Tea lovers, did you know that The Center of Order and Experimentation now carries Volition Tea?

Volition Tea is a Chicago-based tea company sourcing exceptional loose leaf teas from small producers in China and thoughtfully grown herbals from farms in the United States. They believe every great cup begins with the people who cultivate, harvest, and craft it. Through direct relationships and visits to origin, they seek to understand not only how their teas are made, but the stories, traditions, and communities behind them.

Annie Xiang, founder of Volition Tea, will set up a tea tasting station in the shop on October 3rd. Taste an array of teas including whites, reds, greens, blacks, oolongs, and herbals. This is a wonderful way to fall in love with the beautiful teas, learn about their harvest, and try many flavor profiles.

Volition Tea is collaborating with What Margie Made on an exclusive menu of tea-inspired pastries that you can purchase during the tasting. We are looking forward to a day of tea! taken in The Center of Order and Experimentation by @orderandexperimentation

EXTRA ENTRANCE 🚨

You may have noticed construction on Grand Ave. As they are working on our sidewalk, we have opened our back door for you all during shop hours this weekend.

Back entrance is located at 1727 W Ferdinand. Off of Hubbard and Hermitage. The door is open for you during shop hours! There’s lots of parking on Hubbard and Hermitage, so this is an easy entrance to use if you’re driving to visit us.

We will keep you posted on any updates, but feel free to use this back entrance. Our front door is open as well! This is just an extra entrance.

THE EYES ARE ALWAYS THERE

Joe Merrell is a Los Angeles-based artist who, for more than 15 years, has been making video, animation, print and sculpture for exhibition in galleries and museums in the US and Europe. Having made Abduction eau de parfum in 2016 related to his art installation that dealt with the subjects of UFOs and alien abduction, Joe introduced scent-making into his creative life. Now producing limited runs of perfume as The Eyes Are Always There, image-making is at the center of his fragrance practice.

WE ARE CELEBRATING MARTHA’S 15TH BIRTHDAY TOMORROW, SEPTEMBER 12TH, AND YOU’RE ALL INVITED!
