I don’t usually ‘race’. More of a ‘sign up to an event i’m seriously not ready for and try to finish 😬
.
Was a different kind of pain out there when your constantly pushing at your body’s max 🦵
.
Now do I stick with super hard things and struggle through them all the time ? Or do i start racing more ?

Got about 100 new followers since all this Slovenia running shenanigans - which is great because i was starting to get worried my strava would have more followers than my instagram.
.
So welcome, 300 followers is tiny on the scale of the internet, even my mum has over 5,000 followers LOL. But if 300 people were in-front of me congratulating my run I would be blown away. So thank you ♥️
.
Without further ado, here are my next plans :

Yellow Belly 100Miles with @yellowbellyultraevents

The Toughest Adventure So Far 🏔️
.
UTMB @julianalpstrailrun pushed me hard. At half way I saw @ttillystrange and wanted to quit. The thought of running another 2 marathons after feeling the tank was empty was something I couldn’t really comprehend but I packed my bag again and strolled off…..sobbing.
.
Hours and hours went past and I found some kind of a groove, eating countless orange slices and endless olives and listening to “Dust in The Wind”
.
Time flew and I found myself 4km from the finish, I don’t really think I noticed how close I was until that moment but that was the hardest part. My body just wanted to shut down and I was out of water. I stumbled through the final village and a kind stranger offered me a stein of water. It was chugged instantly 🍺
.
Then, 26 hours later @ironbodz and I crossed the finish line with the help of a soldier - @_isaac.wright_ 🦾, my mum @laurencooperj ❤️ and the support from everyone watching on ‼️
.
That was tough but what’s next ?
.
Oh yeh, I also ended up in an ambulance 🚑 but who doesn’t ??

This is your sign to run an ultramarathon with bro

UTMB Slovenia 122km, hardest thing I’ve ever done. If it wasn’t cloudy preventing helicopter access probs would have thrown the towel in ngl.

An unbelievable but gruelling race. All weathers, all terrains and emotions rolled into one. Slightly traumatic some of those inclines but what an experience @julianalpstrailrun ❤️
