It’s been hard to sum up the past month & #ifgathering2019, but I think this banner from @abbymumme’s wedding does a pretty great job. It’s been 5 years since I walked into the @ifgathering office and heard about a dream to gather, equip and unleash women to disciple a generation and how I somehow would get to be a part of making that happen. Since that day, I’ve met and worked with the greatest of friends, learned more than I can comprehend, and seen the Lord move in ways I still can’t believe in the lives of women around the world - including and especially mine and those in our offices in Austin and now Dallas. I spent this morning reflecting on these past 5 years and, more to have a marker for myself than to expect anyone to read them, I wanted to keep these lessons (in the comments) alongside photos of the past 5 years of teams that have had such a vital role in me learning them. And to remember what’s quite possibly the greatest lesson of all that I’ve learned - to not beat myself up that I’m not where I’m going to be, and to be grateful I’m not where I was. by @ordynerry
