On the 21st of January, 2022, I graduated from Joseph Ayo Babalola University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science with a First Class (CGPA: 4.97/5 - A record since the inception of the University).

Hence, I emerged as the Best Graduating Student of the class of 2021.

Live sound mixing and engineering are among the things I love most! Over many years, I've been privileged to use these skills to contribute to an amazing worship experience. I had fun working through this mix and making changes to improve our worship experience.

Mixing FOH/Mains and Broadcast at the same time is hard. It's much easier when you have different engineers handling each of them. Another possibility, which was what I did here, is to have a broadcast mix (on the console or with a DAW) that has been tried and tested multiple times. However, you'll still have to make changes on the fly as a result of the uniqueness of each service (the time of day, style of music, vocal variety, and the way the musicians play).

Today is my birthday 🎂

I have spent the most of the day reading messages and talking with people.
Once again, much more, I am taken aback, humbled, and reminded of the importance of living with purpose—in Christ—in mind.

Reflecting on the past year today, I know that there is much more to be done in fulfilling God's plan.

I'm grateful to be surrounded by family and friends who have made today much more heartwarming and spectacular.

Happy birthday, Ọrẹolúwatòmíwá!

I have heard many people describe FEAR as False Evidence Appearing Real; I agreed with this, but it only became much clearer when I climbed a tango tower.
A Tango tower has different sections, such as the rock wall, vertebrae, and Donkey Kong, among others. I had once scaled the rock wall section. This time, I wanted to take on a section that was harder.

Climbing up was not an issue for me; however, the problem came when I was about to jump down. I was strapped into a harness with an auto belay and I had a helmet on. Even though I had these safety devices on, for a moment, I was still scared to jump down. Eventually, after a few seconds, I faced my fear and jumped down and I descended slowly. The fear was needless.

Joyce Meyer said "Just because you feel fear doesn't mean you can't do it. Do it afraid."
Our concerns and fears, however real, should not deter us from achieving our goals, desires, and God's plans for our lives.

In our walk with God, fear, left unchecked, will weaken your faith. The Apostle Peter was walking on water until he shifted his focus from Jesus to the waves. Consequently, he began to sink.

As I conclude, remember what the Bible says in Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT)
[6] Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. [7] Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

God has blessed us.

Yesterday, with the Lord, and His saints, listening to God's word and fellowshipping with the brethren.

As we go on about life, Let us always remember that our destiny is to be in Christ (Eph 1:3-7) and our purpose, in Christ, is the work of ministry (Eph 4:12).

Sometime in 2022, the 3rd substantive Vice-Chancellor of my alma mater, @jabu.info, Late Prof. Kola Sonaike, gave me a Bible (shown in slides 8-14) as a gift, after my convocation ceremony. I remember our last conversation around the Grace park close to the Univerisity auditorium. He said (I paraphrase), "once you are done with NYSC, quickly start your Ph.D." Wherever I go, I take that Bible along with me, remembering how he lived a fulfilling and how he positively touched everybody that crossed his path.

I was able to take some cool photos thanks to my photographer, @ako_dav 🙌

Last slide: Somewhere on the way back to base. Everytime I have to go to Pittsburgh, I always get lost at least once thanks to Google Maps confusing me by not updating on time 🤣😭. Today wasn't different, we missed our way just twice 😅😅😅. by @oredavid001
