A final December Sunday walk by the sea. So much in my heart today.

Ebbing, surging, roaring tide is the perfect soundtrack for my thoughts about heaven and nature. I've experienced both this week. And when they've combined (and they have)... Bliss. ☀️

Newport Bay serving up a spectacular sunset show tonight! 🌅 The sky's painting everything in gold, and the harbor lights are starting to twinkle... and... there might be another light show in store! Low tide treasures at Otter Rock revealed this little wanderer today! 🦀 There's something magical about exploring the Oregon coast's hidden pockets, especially here at Otter Crest, where the waves meet the sandy and rocky shore. Nothing beats a peaceful winter beach walk, watching the tide pools come to life while the Pacific rolls in. Mother Nature's little surprises always make this spot feel like home away from home 🌊

Found this curious crab playing peek-a-boo among the rocks - just another reminder of why this corner of the Oregon coast keeps calling us back 🪸
