Geology rocks 🪨

One of the most memorable moments of OPC is getting up close with the land itself. Today, campers stepped into the vineyard to explore the soils beneath their feet and learn how Oregon’s diverse geology, paired with cool-climate viticulture, helps shape the distinctive expression of Willamette Valley Pinot noir.

“OPC was the best wine trip of my wine career and I count the days until I am eligible to apply again. Meeting my colleagues was one of the most amazing parts of the program, with the OPC board somehow perfectly grouping like-minded members to their buses. I thoroughly enjoyed the big tastings and opportunities for socialization during the meals. The educational sessions were highly valuable. I have great memories of the OPC board and winery participants being incredibly welcoming, greeting us as though we were lifelong friends.

OPC left such a great impression that I carry still today, highlighting wines from Oregon by almost 100% more in variety in my fine wine retail location in Washington, DC It is a point of pride to have this region well represented because the clients who know Oregon always are overjoyed to see their favorite region shown off with a range of SKUs, prices, and varieties.” - Anonymous OPC Alumni

It’s testimonials like this that keep us going 🧡 We’re so grateful for our OPC alumni and ambassadors of Oregon wine. THANK YOU!
