Estonia has 1.4 million people.
And it’s been almost entirely digital since 2002.

Here’s what growing up and building here
taught me about automation 👇

Digital voting since 2005
Lesson: When you remove the friction, people actually use it.

99% of public services are online
Lesson: Manual processes are a choice, not a necessity.

Company registered in 15 minutes
Lesson: Speed is a feature. Build your processes like it.

Tax return filed in under 5 minutes
Lesson: If the government can do it, your business can too.

e-Residency used by founders in 180+ countries
Lesson: Digital removes borders. Build accordingly.

Skype, Wise, Bolt, Pipedrive — all from Estonia
Lesson: Small country, no excuses. Efficiency is the edge.

This is where Operexa AI is built.
And this is why we think about automation differently.

New chapter: I’m going to share more of what I do here.

Quick intro: I’m Dmitri, I run Operexa from Estonia. We help companies hand their repetitive work to AI.

Here you’ll get the behind the scenes, plus practical tips you can actually use in your own work. taken in Estonia by @orehhovd

Calls don’t need an office. Most of my week is calls with companies in four countries, and some of the best ones happen away from the desk 📱

Best tip I can give for remote calls: share your screen, not slides. Show the real inbox, the real spreadsheet. You’ll solve more in 30 minutes than in a 2-hour meeting. taken in Estonia by @orehhovd

Most companies don’t need an AI strategy. They need to stop doing the same 5 tasks by hand.

5-minute challenge: open your sent folder and count the emails you wrote last week that were basically the same email.

Here’s the exact exercise I’d do before talking to any AI company. Including mine.

It takes 10 minutes:
1. List 10 tasks you did more than twice last week (sent folder + calendar).
2. Score each one: times per week × minutes.
3. Circle the ones that happen every week, touch 2+ tools, follow the same rules and cost money when they’re late.
4. Put a number on the top one.

Example: logging 25 new leads a week at 6 minutes each = 150 minutes a week. About 10 hours a month, on one task.

Swipe through, save it, and do it on Friday afternoon. taken in Estonia by @orehhovd

3 hours of your team’s day — gone. Here’s what that actually looks like on screen.

Your team is doing this right now.

Before automation:
→ 3 people. 3 hours. Every single day.
→ Copy. Paste. Check. Repeat.
→ One error means an hour of cleanup.

After Operexa AI:
→ 0 people. 8 minutes. Automatic.
→ Runs in the background, perfectly, every time.

Those hours did not disappear.
They moved to work that actually grows the business.

This is not a prototype. This is live, right now,
in a company that used to spend €40k a year on that manual task.

Estonia has 1.4 million people.
And it runs almost entirely on code.

Here’s what building a company in the world’s most
digital nation taught me about automation 👇

Digital voting since 2005
→ Lesson: When friction disappears, people actually use it.

99% of public services online
→ Lesson: Manual processes are a choice, not a necessity.

e-Residency used by 100k+ entrepreneurs worldwide
→ Lesson: Digital-first removes all borders.

A startup is founded every 5 hours in Estonia
→ Lesson: Fast infrastructure = fast business.

Estonian companies automate 3x faster than EU average
→ Lesson: Culture of automation starts from the top.

Companies here don’t ask IF to automate. They ask WHAT.
→ Lesson: That mindset is everything.

This is where I build.
And what I build, I’ll share here every day.
Follow to see how automation actually works in practice.

I didn’t realize how much time I was wasting… until I got 5+ hours/week back using AI.

For the past 3 months, I’ve been testing different tools daily — not theory, just what actually works.

Here are 3 things that made the biggest difference for me:

1. I stopped doing repetitive tasks manually
I use Gamma for presentations,
Gemini for deep research,
Claude + Replit for coding & quick builds.
→ things that took hours now take minutes

2. I built my own small AI “team”
OpenClaw acts like my personal assistant
Apollo AI helps with outreach & sales
Higgsfield for content creation
→ feels like I have extra people without hiring

3. I connected everything with automation (n8n)
This changed everything.
Tools started working together instead of me jumping between them
→ less chaos, more output

I’m not special — I just got tired of doing everything manually.

Curious…
are you still doing most of your work yourself,
or already using AI to save time?

Noticed something interesting in Baltic real estate 👇

CEOs know about AI…
but still choose to hire more people instead of automating.

Meanwhile, their younger agents are thinking:
“Why am I still doing manual work?”

They want:
→ less admin
→ more CRM focus
→ more selling

So what’s the gap here?
Is leadership underestimating AI?
Or afraid there won’t be enough work left?

Because here’s the truth:
AI agents are already cheaper than an extra hire.

Curious to hear your take 👇
Are you using AI to reduce manual work yet?
Or still relying on hiring?
