Our EmpowerHer conversation on “Stewarding Your Single Season Well” was so needed!

We talked about embracing singleness not as a waiting room, but as a season with purpose. A season to grow closer to God, heal, discover who you are, build meaningful community, and become a good steward of the life God has given you right now. 🌷

Your life doesn’t begin when you get married. There is purpose in this season too. 🙌🏾

WHEN GOD HIDES YOU. 🙏🏾

Sometimes our hidden season can feel like punishment.

We start questioning God…

When is it going to be my time?
When is it going to be my season?
God, when are You going to do what You said?

But what if being hidden isn’t punishment at all?

What if there is a BLESSING in being hidden?

In 1 Kings 17, God tells Elijah to hide. Then in 1 Kings 18, God tells him it’s time to come out.

And there was purpose in BOTH instructions.

God does so much in the hidden season. He provides. He prepares. He develops. He protects. And when the time is right, the same God who told you to hide will tell you when it’s time to come out.

Tonight, we’re talking about “When God Hides You” and what God may be doing when it feels like nobody sees you.

God is calling you out of hiding.

Out of hiding behind fear.

Happy Birthday to the love of my life. ❤️

This year hasn’t been an easy one. Losing his dad has brought grief, yet through it all I’ve watched him lead with strength, love, grace, and unwavering faith. In one of the hardest seasons of his life, I’ve seen one of the most beautiful versions of him.

Watching the way you’ve continued to love your family, serve others, and trust God has made me admire you even more.

So celebrating your 40th birthday with a surprise party was my small way of honoring the incredible man you are. You deserve to be celebrated…not just today, but every day.

Happy 40th Birthday, babe. I’m so grateful I get to do life with you. Here’s to the next chapter. I love you endlessly. ❤️

2026 has been a year.

In February, Torrey’s dad passed away. In March, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Life hit hard. There were setbacks, tears, moments of solitude, and disappointment. But there was also joy.

I had a plan. I usually do. But one thing life has reminded me this year is that sometimes your plans change, and you have to surrender. You have to let Jesus lead instead of trying to force an outcome He never asked you to carry.

Even in the hardest moments, God has been faithful. There have been beautiful moments woven between the grief, moments of laughter, love, growth, and unexpected grace.

So on this birthday, I’m choosing to focus on the joy. I’m choosing gratitude over grief, hope over fear, and the love that has surrounded me every step of the way.

Here’s to another year of trusting God, embracing whatever comes, and believing that His plans are always better than my own.
