A path well traveled is a journey worth taking, it has been for one our very own. Petra (Kelo) Ikenasio brings up her tonne in Premier Women's games when she runs out in tomorrow's Tia Paasi Final.Accumulated between The O and Ngati Toa, Kelo has returned home to bring up the 100, and we finally get to celebrate our sister who's been through it, overcome it, and has been blessed by it.Alongside her family, friends and teammates will be Kelo's most prized blessings - Ngatungane and Tehina. An achievement that has come with challenges, a milestone marked with struggles, but a span of games also full of celebration and joy.“O le upega e tautau ae fagota” | “A fishing net fishes even while hung to dry”The blessings from her parent’s and family’s prayers have allowed her the strength to forge her own legacy at the O. A legacy dedicated to those that continue to support and embrace her success, and uplift her during hard times.
