DJ DLUX is a British producer and DJ whose career spans both jungle and UK garage. Renowned for his contributions to each genre, his productions have earned lasting recognition across the UK's underground dance music scene. 🔽 What's your favourite D LUX track(s)? Let me know in the comments! ⚜️🔽 __________________________ DJ DLUX (also credited as DJ D LUX) is a British producer, DJ, engineer and broadcaster whose career has spanned more than three decades across jungle, UK garage and grime. Beginning in the early 1990s, he first made his mark on the pioneering hardcore jungle scene through releases on Brain Records, working alongside influential names including Bizzy B, Lennie De Ice, DJ Hype and DJ Zinc. Early productions such as Dub Fe Dub and other now sought-after recordings showcased his distinctive blend of rugged breakbeats, deep basslines and dancefloor energy, many of which have since been revived through The Lost Dats reissue series. As UK garage emerged towards the end of the decade, DLUX seamlessly adapted his sound, producing a string of club-focused tracks that fused soulful vocals, infectious swing and heavyweight bass with the musicality of his jungle roots. Alongside his studio work, he became a familiar voice on pirate radio, holding influential residencies on Rinse FM before joining the legendary Dejavu FM, where he has remained a cornerstone of the station for many years. As part of the Dejavu collective he also founded the We Play Music brand, combining live performance, broadcasting and artist development into one of the scene's longest-running platforms. Beyond the decks, DLUX has built a respected reputation as an engineer and mentor, working with a generation of UK urban artists including Lethal Bizzle, Kano, Ruff Sqwad, Big Narstie, Frisco, D Power Diesel, No Lay and MOBO Award-winning duo 2Play. His ability to evolve with the changing sounds of British underground music has seen him remain relevant through the rise of grime and beyond, while his continued release of previously unheard archive material and new productions has cemented his standing as one of the UK's most versatile and enduring underground music pioneers. by @originaldjdlux

As we pay heavenly respects to Len on his birthday, we look back to the session last month at our Music Heritage Masterclass, held at @BigPennySocial. We looked at the legacy of Lennie De Ice and the “DIY” mindset that built the UK Jungle scene, The biggest takeaway for the young people who took part in this session? Ownership! We talked about the ethics of being self-sufficient, owning the means of production, the distribution, culture and the destiny. Insightful and inspiring. This is how we turn street culture into a lasting legacy. #YouthEmpowerment #LennieDeIce #CreativeOwnership #SelfSufficient #UKBassCulture WalthamForest CreativeFutures Space4All CreativeEngagementServices by @originaldjdlux

Big up to the connoisseurs! Getting ready to drop a brand new session of The Dlux Private Reserve. This one is special. I’ve pulled out one of my all time favorites, the 80s classic “Just A Little More” by Fifth Of Heaven. If you know, you know. Jungle legend Shy FX caught the vibe on his latest track “100” featuring Kingh, and she absolutely did justice, it’s one of the best Jungle tunes I’ve heard in years. From the 80s roots to the modern day weight, this mix bridges the gap. Full mix soon come! Check my YouTube channel for more. #DJDlux #FifthOfHeaven #ShyFX #Kingh #JungleMusic StreetSoul taken in Mile End, London by @originaldjdlux
