A few years ago I had a show @oneartspace and the curator @mann13wolf grabbed to tell me there was a phone call for me. Kind of perplexed I took the call and said hello. The voice on the other end said hell this Rodger Dean. I didnt know what to say except hey youre great! I told him that I had a tshirt for him that says YEAH on it. I explained to him that if Yes were from NY, they would be called YEAH! He laughed and said hed look forward to recieving the shirt and we said bye. Two weeks later I get a call from thr curator saying the Rodger would be appearing with Yes on the 50th anniversary tour in NY. I contacted Rodger by email and he invited me to the show. I get there and a ticket was waiting for me. I went in and hebsaw me wearing the tshirt. With a big smile he waved me over and said thats brilliant! I never thought of doing that with letters. We hung out for about 45 mins talking about graffiti lettering and typography. The next day I get another email from him with thebword YEAH but done by him in the original Yes font that he did. He was a gentleman and it was great to meet him. I was always a fan of Yes and his lettering and coloring inpired me growing up. God bless you @rogerdeanofficial it was a pleasure. by @originalkr1
