ARTIST REVEAL: DOSH + NAOISE

[DECLASSIFIED]
Father and son duo Martin @originalmartindosh and Naoise @nao1se Dosh. Both create unique strains of electronic music. Martin (better known as just Dosh) has been using looping, shimmering Rhodes, and live drums for over two decades to create inviting and uplifting soundscapes. Naoise programs frenetic breakbeat music and MIDI/sound collages. They team up for a foray into a more droney and darker sound.

Very wonderful end of evening hanging with Mingus the dog, my personal friend , and @hamilgriffincassidy filming me wigging out Eno-style on @vanessa.lawrow ‘s gramma piano. Southside MPls. What a life. Really hope some enterprising youth can take a few bars offa this and make a hit. 2026, giving it all away. Wardrobe by @spitzattack by @originalmartindosh

This is a seriously ill photo from 1995; Taken by Colby Martinson. My band from NY: Como Zoo. We were a very good band. 2 guitars, bass and drums. Parker Ramsey, Joey Buchalter, Dan Metivier, and me. Co writing credits on all songs: very communist…..We got close to “making it” but we threw in the towel in 97.

Expect us to finally release the last thing we made: an almost entirely instrumental jam (9 songs I think?) recorded at Mr Bagel in Poughkeepsie by Joeys brother BJ. It’s really fun.

. No nostalgia here. Present tense. These three dudes are my brothers, and we went through some harrowing and truly delightful and insane shit in our 5 years touring, back before there were Google Maps on your phone. Pour one out for como zoo. by @originalmartindosh

How can a four piece band sound like this? It’s nuts. I love fugazi, I love the minutemen and firehose. I love NWA and tribe called quest. I love all music that is real and in the world. Music that is present. And obviously I love weather report, in all iterations. by @originalmartindosh
