POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Five years: mobile bar, to build out, to flagship, to roastery, to location number two opening next month. It’s surreal.

Five years of fighting for a silly dream. Five years of unexpected and unexplainable growth. Five years of success we don’t deserve. Five years of crushing failure that has taught us so much. Five years of lifelong friendships made.

There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t feel incredibly blessed. So many people poured into us. Believed in Matt & I, regardless of what challenges we faced. I can’t express how appreciative I am of my friends, family, and staff that has made Origin what it is.

I’m so excited for the next five. 🥹 taken in Origin Coffee Bar by @origincoffee.bar

Happy 3rd Birthday, OCB! 🎂

Thank you for supporting small, & supporting local. 🥹

We can’t emphasize enough the role that our family & friends played in this journey. Though our content of them is sparse, their impact carries over every single day. Thank you so much – we will never get over it. 😭

Huge shout out to @squarecityproductions & @voyage.creative for the work y’all put into our kickstarter. We are still blown away. 🫶🏼

Last week, our roasters Derek, Ben, and Matt headed to Minneapolis for Advanced Roaster Training at @millcityroasters. We learned alongside incredible roasters from across the country, soaked up the experience of the Mill City team, and visited great baristas and cafés all over the Twin Cities.

Huge thanks to @dogwoodcoffee, @port2050coffeeroasters, and @cafeimports for their generosity and hospitality. You made us feel right at home.

We’re back in Savannah and Hilton Head with new ideas and a lot of gratitude. Can’t wait to share all we’ve learned soon with some new stellar coffees coming your way soon! ✨

Y’all voted us Best Coffeeshop again—we are thrilled and deeply grateful! 🏆

Everything we do is for the love of people, the gift of good company, and the art of a great coffee.

Honors like this remind us that the early mornings, late nights, long hours, big risks, hard choices, and the significant sacrifices made by the whole team are felt, seen, and actually make a difference.

We love you, SAV. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.🫶🏼 taken in Origin Coffee Bar by @origincoffee.bar

New pour over on bar: India Monsoon. 🌧️

As the name suggests, these coffee cherries depulped and washed in actual monsoon conditions in India.

Ben, one of our of roasters, selected the India Monsoon due to its unique origin, and has expertly crafted a medium roast best fit for pour overs & batch brew.

What we taste: warm chicory, clove, & subtle pineapple sweetness. This coffee is full bodied, low in acidity, and shines even brighter when brewed over ice.

Come taste it on bar this week, or grab a bag online. 🤙🏼

What a freakin’ weekend! Not only was it easily our busiest weekend across both cafes, but we opened up our express bar in the roastery, launched the fall menu, met some ducks, and had a BLAST! We’re so so grateful to get to be here for our community. Major shout out to our entire team that buckled down, kept the vibes up, and made this weekend possible. 🫶
