Once again, I let myself down in this competition. Once again, I’m left with the feeling that I fell short and couldn’t show what I’m truly capable of.

There was nothing I wanted more than to become a World Champion.

There has never been a competition where I believed so deeply that it could happen.

I truly believed, with all my heart, that I was going to win this competition—and that’s exactly why it hurts so much.

I came in physically and mentally prepared, yet somehow, I found myself watching the final from the stands once again.

It hurts. But I know my time will come.

I will become a World Champion—whether as a junior, a senior, or both.

I promise.

My first Senior European Championships. My first European Championship final. 🥹

I have so much to say about this competition.

After Innsbruck and Hungary, I came back physically and mentally exhausted. The first weeks of training were really tough. I couldn’t train the way I normally do, and my body was constantly hurting.

After a lot of hard work, I finally started feeling a bit more like myself. But then, a week before the competition, I started feeling weak again.

Two days before the competition, I also started doubting myself. I felt like I wasn’t good enough, and my confidence really took a hit. That doesn’t usually happen to me—I normally go into every competition believing I can achieve a great result. But this time, I wasn’t sure of myself.

I worked through it and managed to go into the qualifiers with a much better mindset and belief in myself. The qualifiers went well, and from that moment on, I started believing that anything was possible again.

The semifinal started really tough, and the heat definitely didn’t help. But I managed to pull myself together and climb well on the last two boulders, which earned me a spot in the final.

In the final, I felt pretty good. I made a few mistakes, but I’m really happy with this competition, especially because of everything I did over the last month to get back to myself and arrive ready for this competition.

Now, all eyes are on the World Championships, which begin on Thursday. 😈😈😈

אליפות בוגרים ראשונה שלי.
אכזבה קטנה כי אני יודע שטעות אחת הפסידה לי את התחרות,אבל שמח על זה שהצלחתי להעפיל לוורלד כאפים כבר בעונת הבוגרים הראשונה שלי.
הבנתי מה היו החולשות בתחרות הזאת, ואני עובד כדי שלא יופיעו בעונה הבין לאומית
